This Serial ATA host controller card is designed to offer a high performance, cost effective and reliability solution to user who needs to accommodate storage peripherals with the new Serial ATA interface and with limited PCI Slots. This all-in-one card combines all the latest technologies and RAID functions into One PCI Card. This card offers the user to have the options of RAID 0, 1 and or the normal functions of the SATA.

• High Speed Serial ATA or Serial ATA with RAID

• Dual high speed serial ATA interface ports, each
  supporting 1st generation Serial ATA data rates

• Provides RAID 0 (Stripping) to greatly increase the
  performance of data transfer by simultaneously
  writing data to 2 drives
• Provides RAID 1 (Mirroring) to protect the data from
   a disk failure by writing identical data on 2 drives
• Fully compliant with Serial ATA 1.0 specifications
• Independent 256-byte FIFO (32 bit * 64 deep) per
  Serial ATA channel for host reads and writes
• Supports Spread Spectrum in receiver
• Features Serial ATA to PCI interrupt masking
• Features Watch Dog Timer for fault resiliency
• Acts as NON-RAID when BIOS NOT configured as
